Terms of Service
These terms govern marketplace activity, standard escrow, Instant Buy, account delivery, payments, disputes, and your responsibilities when using WeFame.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using WeFame, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform.
Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use WeFame.
Marketplace Rules
Listings must accurately describe the account, website, application, gaming asset, community, or other digital property being offered. Sellers must disclose material details that may affect transfer or use. Contact details, attempts to move a transaction off WeFame, misleading information, and fraudulent listings are prohibited.
Buying Options
Eligible listings may support a standard purchase request, Instant Buy, or both. A standard purchase request begins only after the seller accepts the buyer’s request. Instant Buy allows the buyer to pay the listing price and applicable escrow fee immediately from their WeFame balance.
Standard Escrow
In the standard escrow process, the buyer sends a purchase request, the seller accepts it, and the buyer pays the escrow fee. The seller then submits credentials or transfer details through WeFame. An escrow agent reviews the transfer before authorizing the remaining payment and releasing credentials according to the transaction flow.
Instant Buy
For Instant Buy, the buyer pays the listing price and escrow fee from their WeFame balance at checkout. WeFame holds the full amount while the seller submits secure delivery details. The buyer’s confirmation that the item is secured does not release seller funds. Only an assigned escrow agent or an administrator may release the seller payment after reviewing the transaction.
Fees, Payments, and Balances
The escrow fee is 10% of the listing price with a minimum fee of $10, unless a different fee is clearly shown before checkout. The buyer pays the fee. Funds held for an active transaction are not available for withdrawal or other purchases until the transaction is completed, cancelled, or refunded.
Delivery and Credentials
Credentials, transfer instructions, and other sensitive delivery information must be submitted only through the designated secure delivery or escrow tools. Users must not place credentials in ordinary chat messages. Sellers are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and transferable delivery information.
Disputes, Cancellations, and Refunds
A buyer or seller may open a dispute while a transaction is eligible for dispute. Opening a dispute freezes the transaction and keeps the funds held. An assigned escrow agent or administrator may resolve the dispute and allow the transaction to continue, release payment when appropriate, or cancel the transaction. When an Instant Buy transaction is cancelled and refunded, the buyer receives the full listing price and escrow fee back to their WeFame balance.
Prohibited Conduct
Users may not bypass WeFame escrow, request or make off-platform payments for an active WeFame transaction, provide false information, manipulate reviews, harass other users, misuse credentials, interfere with another user’s account, or engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity.
Platform Role and Limitation of Liability
WeFame provides marketplace, communication, balance, and escrow tools. We do not guarantee the legality, future performance, continued availability, platform compliance, or uninterrupted operation of any transferred digital property. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeFame’s liability is limited to the amount of fees paid to WeFame for the affected transaction.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the platform, marketplace rules, payment methods, escrow processes, or legal requirements. Continued use of WeFame after revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
